The steering wheel in my X rests slightly ****ed to the left when the wheels are perfectly straight ahead. If I drive hands off I start to slowly drift to the left. The result is that generally whenever I drive I have to apply just a touch of pressure to the right in order to hold a straight line. The only exception is when really strong gusts of wind on I-5 apply the correcting force. At first I thought it was a problem with my alignment but I'm beginning to wonder if it has to do with the steering itself. I figure I'll have the alignment checked out again but if anyone else has any suggestions or ideas I would love to hear them.

~Thanx

I have the same problem here and it's lasted throughout 2 different sets of tires and 2 allignments so I've just learned to live with it. :frustrate

mine does the same thing, someone recommended it b my ball bearing joints, I want to replace the upper and lower ones but they are not cheap at all

the alignment should make your wheel straight but your tires could also make your truck drift.

check the wheel alingment and then the bearings are snug, also and lastly check the lower joints for play by jackin it up and holding wheel at 12 and 6 and rocking it, play here means that the joints are worn and should be replaced, not a hard job, get it all tracked up after this to keep your wheels true.
