Step 1: back into engine assembly at rest on shop floor, with fork truck.
Step 2: listen to the satisfying crunch of pulley effortlessly departing steering pump shaft.
For some reason I got quite a laugh over this. I figured "that's one way to do it!"
. I guess I need a new pulley.
