Some time ago my Nav started eating serpentine belts then started to make some noise. Pretty soon the belt started squealing like a banshee.
After inspection it turns out that the pulley is out of line with the rest. Whats the solution for fixing this? Do I have to pull the pump or replace the pulley???

I'd appreciate any advice!

the pulley is out of line with the rest? is this the original pump?

You can rent the kit to remove/reinstall that pulley from auto-zone, napa...

IMO that kit the biggest waste of metal and time ever. Plan on getting a small box (maybe 10) 3/8" bolts. If you get the AutoZone Kit (OEM brand), they will need to be atleast 3" long. they will NEED to be grade 8. Grade 5 will break and snap all day long... which is probably the reason why the pulley isnt on there all the way in the first place.

You will destory that kit, and it will piss you off. Just inspect the parts, and buy new bolts before you even get to work, because i garentee you will go through atleast 3 before that pulley is all the way on

The problem is you are supposed to use a tiny ass 3/8" bolt as a intermidate to press a pulley on that takes 150-200 ftlb's worth of torque just to move an .01" inch.

You might aswell replace the pulley... and the pump while you are at it. The hardest part about replacing the pump is removing/reinstalling that stupid pulley.

It takes a bit of finese, but you will find it, and you will be irritated with it in some way or another.
