I was doing a U turn, going slow, when I bumped a curb.
My power steering went out.
I dont see any damage.
Is there a sensor for power steering shutoff?

probably knocked the return line out, or the pressure line, check the fluid level and see if there is any power steering fluid in it. if not add some and start it up and have someone crank the wheel back and forth to check for leaks. or the gear itself is bad internally.

The oil lines and fluid level are OK.
How would I know if it is the gear assy. verses the pump?
