Power window motor

The drivers side power window is slow to roll down and sounds like it is straining under pressure. I thought it might be the battery about to go out, but the battery is strong according to Goodyear. My question is, does it sound like the window motor is about to go out? And if so, how much will it cost to replace?

My first guess would be that the tracks the window slides in are getting gummed up and dirty, making it difficult for the window to go up and down. The first thing I would do is open the door and clean/lubricate the window tracks and see if that solves the problem.
