I have a 2002 Explorer Sport which I am a big fan of. Two nights ago the driver's side window switch would only roll down the window. When I tried to roll it up, it would not go up. It would make a clicking noise when I tried to roll it down (although it was already down). How would I at least get it to roll back up? I am staying in downtown Houston this weekend with street parking.....yikes. Can I switch the wires to the passenger side switch to roll it up, or would that mess things up. When I removed the door panel everything appeared fine. I checked the fuse and it was still good too. Any ideas for a new member?

Well I got the window back up. The plastic that pushes the switch to connect with the wire had worn down to nothing, so I got two tooth picks and pushed the two electric connectors back to connect with the electricity which got the window back up. This is not the best reccomendation as it ended up supplying way too much juice and melting the switch carriage and part of the electrical board on the switch. But hey, the window is up, and it is payday, so I can go get a new switch at autozone.
