I have recently replaced both my window regulators and motors in the front. The first was due to a break-in, and when they broke the drivers glass, and the glass was replaced, it semi-jammed in the track due to being bent. I replaced the entire unit. Just after that, the passenger window began acting up also. Now that both have been replaced, they work fine, but make a loud and violent popping at the stops. Instead of just reaching the top and bottom, the seem to go "past" and begin popping to the point that the outside of the door panel jumps. Any suggestions? The replacements were AC/Delco brand, so not the cheapest...they were about 100.oo each for x frames and motors. The driver door is the worst because of the express down function. It doesnt stop, but instead reaches the bottom and then bang-bang-bang until you quickly reach and press the switch.
