Power window won't move.

Right rear on a 92 4 door won't go down. I pulled the panel and the motor has a shaft/cable coming out and it goes up into the top of the door, where I don't know. The motor runs when switched and the shaft/cable oscillates up and down. Does anyone know how this mechanism works and what may be broke or worn out?

AHH ive got the same problem on my '98 4 door X. The right rear window will not roll down, any help as to what could be wrong would be great, thanks.

Tried searching by "power window". Showed me several threads and good info. I think I should be able to fix my window problem
