I'm working on a '97 5.0 Explorer. Doing some maint. on it for a bud. Anyway, the power windows and interior light quick all of a sudden. It starts and runs fine, radio plays, headlights work and also the dash lights. Checked the fuse, but really don't know what else to do. Please advise.

Sounds like either a relay or the GEM itself. Check the owner's manual to see if the windows and locks are tied together at a relay but it is unlikely that's the case.

GEM's are $$$

Check the relay

Where is it? In the fuseblock? Which one is it? Thanks for the help!

Fuse is either 12 or 20 (can't remember, sorry). There is also a relay in the black box under the hood I believe...
