Premium Sound???6 CD Player??

I have a 98 Sport with waht I'm told is the premium(outside amp)sound.It has a factory in dash Am/Fm/CD Player.The connectors are 1.long w/ 8 wires 2.square w/8 wires.I want to put a Factory 6 cd Player in but the connectors are different.
Do I give up,or go w/the factory in dash CD controler & put a seperate 6 CD changer in my console.
Of course would rather have the in dash 6 CD Player.Also mine is thin in the back not tall like the 6 CD Player.Will one fit ok?

What year and make did the 6 disc come from? If it came from the right vehicle it should be the same size. As for the wiring, you could get a couple of harnesses and make an adapter, but there are a few different choices, so again we need to know where the 6 disc came from and what it's connector looks like.

6 CD Player

I haven't bought a 6 disc CD player yet...Was waitng to find what to get..But pretty sure it will be 1998 and up unit..w/ the square plug in back..They are everywhere on Ebay
