Always keeping an eye on the old Aerostar's road worthiness, I decided to replace the front hrake rotors and wheel bearings. When I got my hubs, I noticed it had both outer races installed already.
Now I never run one brand of wheel bearing in another brand's race, so I pounded them out, replaced totally with new NAPA bearings.
I know some say not to bother doing the outer race replacement, but it just goes against my grain. After a few miles, I will put it on the rack tomorrow and check for play in the adjustment.
Should then be ready for our fall/winter trip to FL.
