$300 installed is a really good price.

Doing my buddys body lift i put a drill through his radiator.. luckily i work in a shop and got one at cost.. think the shops cost was $210 for the radiator.. list price was around $360 maybe? +1hr labor +coolant + clamps, should be over $400 job.

**his rad has a little leak.. so since i put a drill through it and kinda "finished it off" we split the cost.. $100 for a mistake like that aint bad.. and he gave me $50 back for spending a day doing his lift. what a guy! :chug:

Price to replace rad?

I just replaced my rad in my 92 Ex. I put in a new allumium double row rad and got it for $280 with taxes. One gallon of antifreeze and about an hours work. Total price $290 canadian with me doing the work. Since the shop will be doing yours, $300 dollars sounds like a good price, but make sure its for a new allumium rad and not a recored copper one.

I did mine with a brand new Ford radiator for like $150. Check eBay.

I did mine about six months ago. A new radiator (plastic box) cost about $135 delivered. It took about 2 hours to install by myself, it required no special tools and it was relatively a simple installation.

Just replaced the radiator on my '93 Limited last weekend. Cost for a new aftermarket three row unit was $129 plus shipping (about $15.00), changed it out myself in about a half a day but also did the thermostat and hoses since I was in the neighborhood anyway. Couple of good sources on Ebay.

$286 installed... its new aluminum. however, im still having overheating issues. I talked to the owner of the shop today and its going back in first thing in the morning. I dont let things like this upset me horribly... as long as it gets fixed correctly in a decent amount of time. They usually have my car ready within 24 hours of drop off... and they give me a discount on work... some ppl may think i pay alot, but... im ok with it haha. ( ihave no tools here, nor do i have space to work, nor the know how haha)
