Hello, My name is Philip, I live in Sweden and this is my first thread on the forum although I have been a member for a while now.
I am the owner of an Explorer model year 98th
When I bought the car then was there a noise in the engine that I got to come from the timing chain.
After running a year with the noise so I decided to overhaul the engine.
Now I have the engine in parts of my job and to order spare parts.
Now I have discovered that it is hard to find OEM piston rings and main bearing to the crankschaft.
Some dealers say F7TZ6148BA Piston Rings and XW7Z6D309DA main bearings fit my car but others say it does not fit my car.
This makes me unsure of what parts I should have.
My question is whether anyone in the forum knows which parts fit?
