Hi, bought my Explorer in October and at that time the lights on the outside mirrors that illuminate the keypads worked (for maybe a week). After that, haven't been able to get them to work. Now the lights for my steering wheel controls (cruise) have gone out. First it was one side, now both sides are out. At the same time my radio display went out. Any experience or solutions?

Thanks!

If you do a search you will find a fix for the radio. Just needs a little solder fixing. Mine was done under warranty. As for the cruise lights my On/Off went out and that too was done under warranty. On a side note since we are speaking of burnt out bulbs my rear defogger bulb went out also. Not the one that shows if it is working but the one that lets you find the switch in the dark. Warranty covers a switch but not a burnt out bulb so the dealer replaced the switch instead. Gotta love it.

While we are talking bulbs, I can't remember if I ever had a light on the headlight switch, but I know I don't now, can anyone with a 97 Sport take a look at theirs? Thanks in advance..

Not sure about '97 but '98 has a light and a stupid looking, pain to replace light it is.

Does anyone know how to change the lights on the steering wheel cruise control buttons? My right side lights are out! Oh and also the headlight switch light on the dash! 1998 X Sport 2DR
THANKS
