2001 Sport Trac 4WD
2001 Sport Trac 4wd. I turned the torsion bar bolts in (from stock) to raise the front end a little. After 5 turns the drivers side bolt bottomed out, and I only got 1" lift on both sides. The suspension was too stiff and topped out over bumps, so I had to turn the torsion bar bolts back in a couple turns and now it rides normal again.

I want more lift than 1"...I'm looking for at least 2.5" higher than stock because I could use the extra clearance for off-road. I assume if I got different torsion bar keys or longer adjustment bolts to raise the front end more, the suspension would be worse than it was...
I have Bilstein replacement shocks on this truck BTW.

What other options do I have for lifting my Sport Trac a couple inches? Body lift??
Something not as expensive as a real/suspension lift.
