Key will go in (drivers side) but does not want to turn either way. I tried some "lock ease", i think its the graphite stuff, BUT THAT JUST MADE IT WORSE!?! Is there anything else that really works? Or do i need to replace it? Anybody had same problem? Of course passenger side opens right up, figures, less wear and tear. Any info will be appreciated, and i hope everybody has a happy thanksgiving!

Mine used to do the same thing and it got worse when it is cold so I just had the lock cylinder rebuilt:D

Yep, I had the same problem on the pass side, I found out just but accident, I normally use the remote or the key pad on the driver door. Anyway, the key would not turn left or right on the pass door. Lack of use?

So I took a can of WD40, and inserted the red straw that comes with the can and sprayed everything inside of the lock, and let it set for a couple of minutes, and then put the key back in and everything was turning and unlocking so smooth, that I did the driver side as well. Worked like a charm.

Now that winter is here, it claims that the lock will not freeze as well, but who cares, I use the remote 99% of the time anyway or the key pad on the drivers door.

That happened to me too on the driver's side. I thought it was because the problem with the door handle(became loose).
