The main problem is that there's nothing really wrong with it. I just finished my first wrenching - four shocks - after paying for work forever, and I can't find anything major to do.
I went back over 145,000 miles of records as original owner and discovered that I've paid to have the brake and cooling system, and the transmission, flushed about ever 30 - 40,000 miles, so I don't need any maintenance there.
I paid to have the sway bar replaced 20,000 miles ago, and they did the lower ball joints at the same time. I have 83,000 miles on my Michelin LTX M/S, and the trerad's still evenly worn, so the front end's pretty solid.
I guess I can change the belts. Or the spark plugs and wires. And the rear windshield wiper doesn't clear much glass anymore.
The truck's pretty durable, isn't it?
