when the car starts and runs for a few miles, the pressure is fine. after it gets up to temperature, i'll have the pedal to the floor and it takes much longer to get up to speed, almost as though the pressure in the fuel line has dropped. when i reach a dead stop, it begins to idle roughly. and going up hills is very difficult. it's almost like i'm hauling a loaded trailer around everywhere.

Fuel filter.

Either Fuel Filter or a hole in one of the vacuum lines. If there is a hole ,once it warms up the hole gets bigger and lets out more air. Starves the fuel system.

Engine runs ok, pulls ok for the first few miles, then begins to lose power?

That's typical of clogged cats, not fuel pressure. They become more restrictive as they heat up when they fail.

replaced fuel filter before making this post. may be the cat from other advice i've gotten
