Problem with the climate control HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys

I have a 1996 ford explorer eddie bauer edition and I having problem with the air coming out. I change the blower motor and I also was told the reason the air isnt blowing is because the blower motor resistor is bad. I want to know can anyone help with this problem. Where can i purchase this part at because non of the auto store have them.

Did you check the circuit? Maybe the fuse is burned out?

well 3 days ago I got smoke thru my vent when i turn my heat on and it was a eletrical smell I change the blower motor already but i didnt change the blower motor resistor but i did take it off in it smells like a burnt also. I dont know where to get this part from cuz the auto stores dont have it. The blower motor wont come on either so i dont know where to start at.
