Problem with windows and wipers not working

Hey guys I have been reading your post on the problem I have been having on my 1998 explorer my windows and wipers just stop working right out of the blue but when this happens the lights in the instrument panel for the 4wd on and off indicators will also flash on and off like I am putting the vehicle in 4wd.
Any ideas on what my problem might be. Could sure use your help.

i had a problem with my wipers and seat,wipers wouldnt work sometimes and seat would readjust overnight,i checked the small ground wire on firewall,it was way loose.
