I engaged the 4x4 in my exp 91, and I could hear a loud sound from the front...
I check the front axle today, and I felt the passenger side of the front axle some loose or free (not rigid) in the part closed to the differential , especially when I move the axle up and down... there is a little leak of fluid from the right bearing of the diff, also.
The passenger side of the axle spins when I engage the 4x4, so I can think the axle is connected inside the diff.
A problem in the diff ? any seals problem? a bearing problem ? ... or is it normal ???
Thanks for your helpful responses.
