I have a 2000 XLS model I bought in July. I encountered a problem about 2 days ago and I'm not sure what the problem is so many someone can help. When i turn on the lights at night, you have to turn the switch to the first position which turns on the parking lights, fog lights, and illuminates the dashboard and the radio. Then the second position turns on the headlights. However, nothing goes on when I turn the switch to the first position. The dashboard is dark, the parking lights and fog lights won't come on. I had this problem before, however after about 5 minutes they eventually clicked on (seemed like after the car warmed up). Its been 2 days and still nothing. The headlights work however. Usually when the switch is turned on in the first position the digits on the clock dim slightly like they are supposed to, but thats not happening either. I've checked the fuses in both fuse boxes and they all are okay. Can anyone help me please? I would appreciate it! Since I know absolutely nothing about fixing cars. Thanks!
