I was looking through my Summit magazine, and came across ProComp replacement leaf springs that can raise you anywhere from 2-8 inches. I want to fix my sagging a** this summer, and was wondering if anyone has tried or has any information on these??? Thanks!!

How much sagging do you have? The single spring Procomp Add-A-Leafs will give you about 1"-1.5" in the back, and these cost about $35-$40.

they aren't add-a-leafs. they are actual new leaf spring packs (replacement leaf springs). I have about an inch or so of sag, so i was looking to maybe just replace the ones that are there now with these things. i dunno, just looking at what people think about it...

how easy are AAL's to do??

I was actually just throwing out a cheaper alternative to new leaf packs. I am not sure how much the leafs packs are, but I am sure they are more than a simple add-a-leaf. If you have only about an inch of sag, I would definately go with a single leaf add-a-leaf or warrior shackles to make up the difference. The easiest of these two would be the shackles and would only run about $50-$55. With everything soaked in penetrating oil for a few days, shackle replacement should only take about 30-60 minutes depending on your comfort level. Add-a-leafs may take a couple of hours, depending on how rusted the bolts through the leafs are.

Either way should nicely take care of your sagging problem and a lot less money than a new leaf pack would cost.

Good Luck!

Cool... I was thinking of the shackles, but just wanted to have another alternative just in case I wanted to get a little more lift...

Thanks!!!

Oh yea, I would start with shackles definately for about 1-1.5". If you need a little more, then maybe a single add-a-leaf(total 2-2.25"), or if you need more than that, a double add-a-leaf(total 2.5-3"). Then from there, you would prolly want to go with a SOA for about 4.5-5", but I don't think you need all that.

Good Luck!

Rear lift options from 4wheelparts...

pro comp add-a-leaf.... 28.00's
skyjacker add-a-leaf.... 60.00's
double add-a-leaf........ 75.00's
warrior shackles........... 78.00's

These are prices shipped, that's what I was told when I inquired, I went with the pro-comp add-a-leaf, in my opinion it sucks, you would be better off with the skyjacker or even a rancho, I had a rancho in the past and was better quality.

Wow they have a lot of stuff... thanks!

I got replacement leaf springs for my Bronco 2 a few years ago.

They don't seem to have anything for Gen 2.

What magic do I need to work to get these? (preferably double)
