PTU drain plug install? Has anybody added one?

Hey there, pretty sure I'll have to have my ptu replaced since its leaking ( will be taking in next week for official diagnosis). Has anybody installed a drain plug to make it easier and more diy friendly for fluid changes? (I understand manual states lifetime fluid, but we all know where that gets us). I have 65k on my 2012 XLT currently. I know people have been using the mighty vac method, but was wondering if anybody went the actual drain plug install route? Thanks

I thought about it, but opted not to. Drilling, and taping pipe threads upside down while the unit is still installed wasn't something I wanted to tackle.

The MityVac and Power Fill works fine.
