Pulling off the t-case!

I have an electric type plug ontop of it, that will control the dash lights.. wondered if they would affect it. Thats all.

Oh, and I cant get the mother f'ker into 4Lo  I will have to take the linkage off, when the truck cools to see if it needs work, or if the t-case itself is jakked. Mother f'k

Those are a beeee-otch to get off, I had to use a crowbar and a BFH to get mine off. Nice hole in the case though,l impressive.

Hey Robert, how ya doin? Yea serious pita. I am afraid if there is a problem with this one I will have to take it off too :(

Finished, and it works now. Now I will get some diamond plate to attach the boots too.

hehe, i broke my bushing and instead of getting a new one and i said f-it and just hooked the linkage up without, and it works fine. im not sure about the vacuum connect? i didnt think it was electronic anyway?

Only 95-96 have the vacuum disconnect.

95-96 have the vaccum disconnect, and if you swap a 1354m into one of those years you'll actually have to flip the switch on the dash or modify the vacuum disconnect to enage the front axle when you put it in 4wd. Which is actually pretty cool because you can have 2wd low with a setup like that.
