Could someone send me the link to the thread about removing the instrument cluster on a '94 Eddie Bauer edition? I have replacement lights to swap bulbs with and cant figure out how to get to the plugs to pull the cluster.
I'm not sure of a specific thread but all you need to do is remove the dash trim, loosen the guage pod from the dash. Then you can squeeze your hand behind the pod and get to the connectors. They can be a b**ch to get apart, but they are like any other connector with a lock tab on each end that must be depressed before removing it. I always have more trouble removing the speedo cable. You will feel some flats. Squeeze them together and this will allow the cable to slide out of the speedo.
If you want more room you can remove the steering column bolts and let the column hang down a little.
