Alright, I need a push bar, the wife wants a push bar, If you were living with Turkish traffic everyday like I have to right now you'd want one too. Can anyone recomend a good brand, places online to buy and possibly links to pictures of older style explorers with them. Something that looks good and would protect the whole front end is what I'm look for.
Next, I was looking at the shocks on my 93 Limited (I posted wrong originaly this summer, I thought it was an XLT) and they look as if they are the original ones that came with it 9 years ago, there rusty. I can get Rancho RS5000's at the PX for $47 a piece. The only reason I'm going with the 5000's is because I've noticed that many others here are using them. Are they good and do you recomend them. This is a good price?
Last but not least. A guy at my church has an older model XL (don't know the year but it has the same body style) and his sits about 2-3 inches lower than mine. Did the Limited Edition models back in 93 have a lift over the regular models? I also noticed a small radiator infront of my engine radiator, is this the tranny cooler?
Thanks for the input and help. -Gan

I'm running the 5000's on the rear, good shock for the price..$47 seems alittle high, but have to consider shipping.
The older Ex is probally suffering from spring sag, common to older models.
The smaller cooler in front could be a tranny cooler. How big is it, and are you mistaking it for the AC condenser coil???
As far as the pushbar goes, unless you get one custom made, you are not going to find one as strong as you are looking for.
Good Luck...

Your small radiator is probably an auto transmission cooler; if it were OEM. it would indicate that you had a towing package from the factory.
