I have a 2003 Ford Explorer that the windows only work when I push a push button switch near the power distribution box, what might the problem be? I have checked the windows fuse, even had the dealership test it and it had resistance so the fuse is still good.

do you have a picture of the button you are pressing to make it work?

I don't have a picture, yet

I don't have picture yet, but I will get one later and post it. It doesn't even show up in my manual, so I have no idea what it is.

Did you buy new or used? Aftermarket alarm? The pics will help in figuring it out.

Sounds like something a previous owner added...get us some pics, and we might be able to help a bit more.

I have a 92, that had 3 mysterious switches; that I couldnt figure out where they led to, or what they did.

It turns out the switch has absolutely nothing to do with the window opening, it turns when the driver side door is all the way open then the window works, so what might the problem be?

There have been problems with the wires as they go into the doors. I bet you have a chaffed wire at the hinge point either right inside your door, or right inside the vehicle.
