Putting on a body lift (easy??)

I has a 97 XL and was planning on putting a 3" body lift I was wondering if it was easy enough to put on yourself or am I going to have to pay out the butt to have someone do it and if I should be able to do it how long will it take??? If threads on this have been done before than could you point me in the direction?? What all will I need for the lift also??? and which lift??? Ranger or Explorer(later's)????

Do a search for which lift and parts u should get. AS far as the install it is all easy stuff but a lot of steps and it takes awhile. I'd only say it was hard if there is no lift.
