Putting the Running boards on?

I'm putting my 99 Explorer back together in preparation to be sold. I took the running boards off it a year or so ago and can't figure out how to put them back on. I know that they just bolt in, but how do I pop the step back into these holes?

There are yellow plastic pins you have to push back into the top wholes close to the door they are connected to the running boards. As for the bolts and metal brackets you will have to use the clips that came off the bottom wholes as those are the nuts that the bolts screw into get some help to hold the running boards up...you might also want to put the brackets on first then the running boards either way its pretty simple as long as you have all the parts
