Question abot stock tail lights

i have two sets of stock tail light of of a 88 ford ranger and a 91 ford ranger. they look about the same size as 91-94 explorer tail light does anyone know if they interchange?

On explorers the taillight has a hidded black plastic triangle looking piece at the top of the light that is how it is mounted with a singe phillips head screw driver behind the cargo door hatch. On the pickup I dont think that the light has this upper portion due to the fact that it has nothing on the back of the bed to hide it behind so I would have to say that all though they have the same styling cues I think that they are diffrent.
