Question about cats

Yea, ive been gone for a while. Not locked up or anything like that!, just moved to another state and couldnt afford the net for a while. Anyway, is there anything that you can do( that is legal) to improve exhaust flow cat forward? I went on one site that said there cats were the only ones that REALLY improved flow and HP (dont remember name but $260.00ea!), i guess my question is, is there anything you can do? thanks

Unless your cats are bad I wouldn't replace them. By freeing the exhaust up too much you may lose too much backpressure and thus low-end torque.
