Question about doing the exhaust on my 93

Where is the stock resonator located??? Does anyone have a pic?

Hrmm...I don;t have a resonator on my X ...well at least nuthing after the muffler! and the cat is before it muffler.....

I got out and looked underneath, nothing there....just a pipe right from the muffler back. what would it normally look like?

It's near the end of the tailpipe if you have your stock exhaust.

The pipe looks the same all the way back...no change in size. How big is it? I beleive there was a new muffler system put on it just before I bought it..

I had a Dynomax Super Turbo put on, its fairly quiet but man anything was better than the muffler that was on there!!!

I would think it would have been louder, considering I don't have a resonator, but its mellow.

I have a 2.5" flowmaster 40 series muffler, 2.5" exhaust pipe after the cats and exhaust that exits before the rear tire and i still think it is quiet..nice rumble at higher r's though...but thats just me.. Im used to wicked small blocks and open headers at the strip..
