Question about Dvd players

I am putting a tv in my truck and i'll need a dvd player that plays VCD's. Do any of you have or know of any 12v mobile dvd players that will do this?

IF NOT,
will a apex one from wal-mart with a power inverter work? I heard they skip real bad in a car, but maybe if i padded it or something...

If you use an Inverter, it will power it fine. The skipping however cannot be helped much, so get a good quality player...

I use a laptop with tv card and dvd player. Works directly off 12v. I only suffer skipping on the rough terrain.

i found a blaupunkt mobile dvd player, i think it will play my VCDs. Thats the big selll point for me.. IT must play my movies.
