Question about Explorer Sport-Trac White Face Guages

I Was wondering if anyone knew if the Explorer Sport-Trac white face guages would fit on a 2000 Ranger? They look pretty much identical.........but the dealer told me that they wouldn't fit. I was wondering if anyone has done this or knew if they would fit. Thanks.

Oh yeah, the clusters will swap right out.
