Hello
I am putting a used engine in a 1993 Ranger. The truck has a manual trans and the donor engine was a automatic. My question is when putting the flywheel on to the back of the crank are these indexed like Ford V-8 engines? It seems that the flywheel will bolt on in multiple positions. My manual mentions marking the flywheel before removing it, but since I am switching to the manual flywheel how do I know when it is aligned correctly or does it not matter. I dont want to create an imbalance. Thanks for the info!!
