Question about Ford 8.8

I found a 1995 Explorer 8.8 at the junkyard. It has discs (of course) , but does it have 31 spline axels? Its on a 2wd so is there any difference between 4wd 8.8 and a 2wd 8.8? They want $250 for it is that a good price?

If it's from an Explorer it has 31 spline axles. From a Ranger it could have either 28 or 31 I believe.

I would say you have a great deal there. And yes if its on an explorer it has 31 spline. Grab that thing quick.

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee I am swapping it into. I'm getting the mounting harware from M.O.R.E. I have a friend who is gonna weld them all on. Then I put it on with a few others.

So if you already have the Explorer you can do it yourself with some help.
