question for everyone with a "stealth box"

everyone with the q-logic stealth box knows that the "grill" that they give you with the box doesnt fit worth a sh*t. im thinking about playing around with my grill and trying to make it fit somehow; i was wondering what everyone does to protect their sub?

I love your box Rscotts. Very nicely done. What did you make it out of and where did you get the carpet?

Thanks for checking out my system. I made the box out of 3/4" MDF. The carpet was purchased at a stereo shop. My future plans are to purchase some vinyl (same color as the interior) to recover the box and run the wiring through grommets. Also thinking of adding a DVD system.

I re-used my JBL grille. Works great. I also have a cover that the shop made me which is covered in gray acoustically transparent carpet. It's just taking up space in my closet right now, so if you want it, I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping.

Hey mike, i'll buy that cover from you if tbomb doesn't want it. I've been using a piece of a grey tshirt to cover mine, and its just not working out.
