Have any of you had problems with the Dust Cap not staying on when you changed to the Power Slot rotors?

Both sides of my truck had the dust caps fall off many times on a 300 mile trip today. I just installed the new rotors yesterday. I did not ise new dust caps.

I don't have powerslot rotors but I have a thought.
Maybe the caps are a little different in size.

take a pair of pliers, and slightly bend the inside lip of the cap outward at 12oclock, 3, 6, and 9. it doesnt take much... just the slightest amount.

Off the topic...

How do you like the PowerSlot rotors? Isn't it amazing what a difference they make over the stock ones? Which pads did you use?

Now, on topic: I like the suggestion of james t for the dust caps problem. There was/is no dust cap problem with mine; I don't know if its being a first-gen would matter.

I am very happy with the brakes; indeed, the PS rotors made a difference in braking. I would recommend this mod to anyone.

I will try James' trick later today. By the way, thanks, James, sorry for being so slow in thanking you for the tip.

I bent mine out at 2, 5, 7:15, 10:45 ( that gives me an extra ten mineuts to get to work )

Is that the same thing ?

lol, whatever works. :D
