hello everyone i'm new to the group and had a question on headliner lenghts...
recentlly i just bought a 94 x with 191k on the clock off of craigslist for $500 ! now granted it was not running when i was looking at it but the guy selling said " oh it runs you just got to put some starter fluid in the intake to show that the engine runs" ...it did ,but this thing had sat for so long that the tires had roots grown up into the blocks of the tire treads !!! ( did a car fax report and this thing had sat for 3 years !!!!! so....i had to redo the injectors,maf,egr,pump/sending unit etc..... = about 400$ for all but it runs at the first turn of the key now .waxed her up and cleaned the p-ss out of her but it finally came clean.it's got leather ,preimun sound system every thing else works on it ...really surprised me .
so after doing all that i'm at the point of doing small things like replaceing vent luuvers small interoir pieces and the last thing i need to do fora total restoration is the headliner.the one in there is shot but not to bad but needs to be replaced....i found one today at a local yard thats absolutelly perfect but its from a 4dr x of the same year .
will this fit ???? do the 4dr and 2dr have the same measurments or is it different? i figured that it dont really matter since the x are all the same roof lenght but only the door and side metal frame was of diff sizes.
hopefull i can go buy this headliner tommorow and slap it on then my x will be totally restored .
p.s> once i figure out how to upload pics of my truck i will but since i'm new ...have'nt figured it out just yet ,so hopefully everyone can see what i bought for 5 bills ( plus 400 but "hey" who's counting !!! lol ! )
