Question on hte zimmerman mod, please help????

I am thinking on doing this mod and need to find out what year of ranger spring should I use, any?. I take it that the springs are out of a 4x4 ranger. also how much should cut of the spring, 2" from the eye.
or should I use the Explorer main with the ranger pack???
What is the differance between the two. same amount of drop wiht the springs

Well I have been checking with some other shat have did the zim mod, and read id50s build. I have even e-mailed Matt Adams.
In id50s build it has a referance to Old Man Emu springs????? can anyone give me info on this?

Old Man Emu... Also called OME has a 2" lift spring set available for explorers..

Officially they are designed for a 1996 Explorer, but the fit on First and 2nd gen explorers...

They are distributed by ARB USA... and the part number is OME-36

I also use them... I love them.. They really ride well and gave me the lift I wanted.
