So I've decided to add the OHC to my 2003 2 door Sport Explorer.
I picked up a OHC and mounting plate online and the good news is that sheet metal beneath the headliner already had the slots in place and screw holes so all that was needed was to cut the headliner....DONE and INSTALLED
Next, I picked up a new temp sensor from the dealership . I found that my Explorer had a recepticle and the blue/white & blue/yellow wiring for this sensor already in front of the radiator so all I had to do was plug in the sensor... Easy and DONE
Finally, I picked up a Ford harness for the OHC that goes in the headiner, down the drivers side pillar and also has the plugs for the lite vanity mirror option.
Easy to run along the leading edge of the headliner and pillar. I just cant figure out where this plugs in behind the dash
I can't seem to locate where this plugs in and its pretty tight up there.
Any body done this before??
Any ideas of what all has to be removed from the dash to be able to visualize the connetors up behind the left side of the speedo?
Any shop procedures available to R&R this harness?
Thanks in advance.
