Question on overhead console

I have a 1992 Explorer Sport. Will and overhead console ourt of a later year explorer work in mine? Seeing as that my car does not have the mounting holes.

I put a overhead display console in my 1991. If you aren't afraid of wiring, drilling, and cutting in to your headliner, then it is possible.

Make sure you take exact measurments of where all the holes are in the 93-94 explorer. Make a template or something. It needs to be exact for everything to line up. Visit my website to see a picture of the final product.

Well, I figured, you would have to cut into the headliner anyways if I would have a 93-94 to find the holes, and I would have to wire things with the 93 or 94 also. I would take it somewhere to have it wired up becuse I am not good with wiring tough things. My question is would I need a special braket or something? I Know there is 2 holes in the back of the console but how about the front?
