Question on removal of the stock CD player

Hi guys, I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer,all stock. The 6 disc cd player is jammed, if I remove it I can get it fixed. The trim ring around the CD/heater controls is a tight fit. Any advice on the best locations/tools to pop out the trim ring?

I think there might be two screws on the bottom of the trim ring. There are on my 01 sport. Look up at it from under the dash and you should be able to see them if they are there.

No screws, it just pulls off. The clips are really tight. I have the best luck starting at the top right corner, use a flat screwdriver to pull, don't pry.
