Is there a better shock out there than Monroe "sensitrack"?. I had them installed about yr and 1/2 ago and they improved the ride A LOT, but it doesnt seem nearly as smooth now. In fact the ride feels just like before i got them (every bump or pothole is bone jaring!). Maybe i just need to have them replaced, i just thought they would last a little longer.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I'd say if those didn't last that long for you you should go with Rancho 9000s or Bilsteins. Obviously you abuse them too much for gabriels or edelbrocks.

Thanks...but i really dont abuse them at all. Its NEVER been offroad, in fact i baby it if anything else! I'll check out the ones you mentioned, if they are about equal, just go with the cheaper one i guess.

Edlebroc IAC's are costly but I am very happy with them.
EE has a good deal on them.
They are a great street shock. Lots of good road feel.

The only thing is I hear they can wear out quickly.

i've got the trailmaster ng7's and love em, comparable to the rancho's and bilsteins

I just changed to Monroe Reflex. I like the ride. They are a heavier duty shock than the Sensetracs. Ask the dealer where you got your other ones if he will give you some credit on the new shocks. I think they have a "lifetime" warantee on all Monroes.

I've got Rancho RSX's with around 30,000 miles on them now and the truck still steers like its on rails.

I hope not. I bought my EE Edelbrocks IAS just about 3-4 months ago. So far so good. :crossing fingers:

I lied (not intentional), they were Monroe "Reflexes". Its been so long i forgot, but you jared my memory. At any rate, i still thought they would last longer than they did. The problem is that i'm in another state than where i bought them. I may just buy another set when i can afford to.
