question regarding stock player...

I just got a 05 explorer and i wanted to take my aftermarket player out of my 01 explorer and put it in my 05..so i was wondering if i could put my stock 05 player in my 01 . cuz the stock player i had for my 01 was stolen when I had my stuff jacked .why they wanted a stock player is beyond me but what ever they were low lifes..

It really depends more on the design of the "box" of where the stock head unit goes. if its the same measurements, and the cable wasnt changed from 01-05. I dont see any reason why not. Try taking measurements, and try it... It cant hurt to try, just dont force anything... IMO ide go for it. my .02
