Ok i have a 2000 XLT with 3.55 factory gears.
Im planning on running 32s or 33s in the next couple of weeks and im wondering if it would be more cost effective to install a whole new rear end instead of just getting new gears.
Does anyone know about what it would cost to get a 4.10 or 3.73 at the very least with an limited slip out of an similar X at the junkyard? And since i have no automotive know how at all (the biggest project ive ever done was my intake) how much would it cost for a shop to install a new rearend?
Thanks for any help!
