I like it. 108K miles is good for that model, it's
4WD and red. It'll be an OHV engine.

Look out for rust, oil leaks, and clutch wear if it
hasn't been changed. I'll bet you could get it
for $2400-$2600, which would be a good price
in my area for a 4x4.

Yeah, I am going to look good for rust, I HATE RUST!! LOL It is probably my worst enemy..
Are the 4 liter OHV engines prone to oil leaks? I have the 3 liter in my Ranger so I'm not too familiar with the 4 liters..

I've a 99 Sport Automatic 4WD I bought new and it's now at 285,000 kms (Canadian, about 172,000 miles).

It doesn't and has never leaked a drop of oil, doesn't burn any either. The 4.0 OHV seems to be indestructible if properly maintained.

I have had rust issues but that's because I bought it for travel from the West Coast of Canada over the Rocky Mountains into Alberta. I made that trip 3 or 4 times a month and put almost 60,000 miles on it in it's first year. And I swear to God they "sanded" those very icy and snow laden roads with 50% salt/50% large rocks!!!

I got smart and quit living on the coast and working in Alberta. I still live on the coast, 2 minutes from the Pacific, love it.

Definatly looks like a great buy for the price. Be sure to check for signs of rust on the rear of the rocker panel. They tend to rust inside the plastic cover
