Find the blue cap, it's over on the passenger side .

DO NOT use the red fitting by the battery. that's 150+psi. and unless you are really working with the system it's not necessary to fool with it.

Am I gonna hurt myself??

I am trying to recharge my a/c and about a minute into spraying the 134a into the port it looked like some was coming out of the top of the can. Kinda like a small mist. anyway, should I keep going or quit?

SERIOUSLY, AM I GONNA BLOW MYSELF UP?

I 'm trying to re-charge the old a/c the can seems to be misting as I fill. Is this normal or should I not continue? Please don't let me blow my ass up!

Umm, it's best to leave a/c work to the pros. The can shouldn't leak.

maybe it was coming from the port but I'm not sure. as soon as I saw it I stopped. How long after filling the a/c does it take to get cold?

Once the right charge is in the a/c system it will be cold. There is no waiting.

More isn't better. It has to be the right amount or it won't blow cold. Once the system is evacuated and put under a vacuum you need to add what ever pounds/ounces it says on the under hood a/c sticker.

I still recommend going to a a/c shop. You should have the a/c and engine on while recharging.

filling it too much can damage your system. Your core sup. label will tell you exactally how much to put in.

There is no need to start a new thread every minute.
