Quick AAL help.

Hey guys I am wanting to lift/even the rear of ex. Would these AAL work? Has anyone used these?

it says they fit, i got a set of aal's a bit ago that were the same, they worked good, ,
just be careful splitting the packs open, they are under a bunch of force,,

Ok cool. Will these raise the rear higher than shackles?

no it will not,, if the springs are sagged it will bring them back to about stock , they say 2 inch, from sagged that is back to normal,,
if the springs are not sagged out, it will give you about 1 inch,,

So it would probably be better to just go with the Warrior shackles then huh?

it would as long as your springs are not bagged , or worn out,, if they are the shackles will flatten them even more,,
but if they are okay, shackles will be okay , yes,,

the aal's and the shackles together are a good way to do it too,,
my 96 had that too, it was real good, sat nice,,

Corkey Is right about sagging leafs and shackles. I'll take some pics when i get to work Monday to show you what it did to mine you can still slightly see it with the AAL i added when i first noticed it. but if you add the AAL and shackles it will work out great. Or you could always have a spring shop (if you have one that can do it) re-arch them then use the AAL cause in my opinion thew Explorer bulldogged from the factory.
